Production of the Omoda O4 EV begins in Indonesia in November 2026. Get the launch schedule, the expected price of around IDR 400 million, the 65.05 kWh battery specs, and how to order.
The Omoda O4 EV will begin production in Indonesia in November 2026. Shawn Xu, President Director of Omoda Jaecoo International, announced this in Wuhu, China, on Monday, October 19, 2026. Production and the consumer launch are both scheduled for the same month.
The official price will be announced in November, at the launch event. Omoda also plans to invite media to attend the launch in person. No exact date has been published yet.
Omoda assembles the electric car at two Handal facilities, in Bekasi and Purwakarta, West Java. Having two sites gives the company more room to manage unit distribution. That matters because pre-orders have been open for several months.
Global Debut and Pre-Orders Since GIIAS 2026
The Omoda O4 was first shown to the public at the Super AI Night event at Spike Air Dome PIK2 in Tangerang on July 27, 2026. Two days later, it appeared at GIIAS 2026 at ICE BSD City. Indonesia is the first country in the world to hold a launch for this model.
Official pre-orders opened at GIIAS 2026 with a booking fee of IDR 5 million per unit. Buyers can also order through dealers and the official Omoda website. Prospective buyers do not have to wait for the price to be announced to secure a place in the queue.
The launch also marks Omoda’s start as a standalone brand alongside Jaecoo, under Omoda & Jaecoo Indonesia. The company describes the Indonesian market as the starting point for rolling out its Super AI Cockpit technology to other countries.
Omoda O4 EV Specifications
In Indonesia, Omoda offers only one configuration, with a front electric motor producing 160 kW and 275 Nm of torque. Power comes from a 65.05 kWh LFP battery, with a range of up to 553 kilometers on the NEDC test cycle. In another press statement, Omoda cites a range of up to 611 km.
The car supports DC fast charging at up to 119 kW. The battery charges from 20 percent to 80 percent in 22 minutes. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 7.1 seconds.
It measures 4.42 meters long, 1.87 meters wide, and 1.57 meters tall, with a 2.7-meter wheelbase. The design follows a futuristic Cyber Mecha theme. Omoda also equips the car with 18 ADAS functions and AI technology.
Omoda O4 EV Price: Around IDR 400 Million
In a press release dated August 19, 2026, Omoda said the Omoda O4 could arrive at around IDR 400 million. That figure is still an assumption, not the final retail price for the Indonesian market.
Omoda & Jaecoo Indonesia previously stated that the Omoda O4 would be priced above the Jaecoo J5. That places the car in the mid-size electric crossover segment. The exact price will only be clear after the official launch.
