Valor Mortis is a first-person soulslike from One More Level, the studio behind Ghostrunner. Lyrical Games is the publisher. You play as William, one of Napoleon’s soldiers, who rises from his grave in the middle of a plague that turns soldiers into monsters. The game is single-player only, with no co-op or online mode.

Both performance targets rely on upscaling, a technique that renders the image at a lower resolution and then sharpens it. The requirements page does not say which upscaling technology the game uses. A PC with 8 GB of RAM falls below the minimum.

Steps to Install Through Steam and the Xbox App

Only the story expansion adds gameplay, while the skins only change how weapons look. That is why you can buy Standard first. If you already own the base game, you can move up to Deluxe with an upgrade pack that costs about $20.
PC players can also install mods, but the game has no Steam Workshop. Mods are available on Nexus Mods, and you need to install UE4SS first because almost all mods require it. Back up your save files before installing mods. Game updates can break mods until their creators fix them.
