The Wolf Among Us Remastered Is Out Now: Available Platforms

The Wolf Among Us Remastered launched October 29, 2026 on PC, PS5, and Xbox. The Switch version is delayed with no new date. Learn about Noir Mode and the bonus content.

The Wolf Among Us Remastered launched on October 29, 2026, two days before Halloween. Telltale Games and PM Studios released the game for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox. The Nintendo Switch version did not launch on the same date.

The game is a remaster of Telltale’s noir adventure, first released in 2013. Its story is adapted from the Fables comic series published by DC Vertigo. Players once again take on the role of Bigby Wolf, the former Big Bad Wolf, who investigates a murder in Fabletown.

The remaster packs all five episodes into a single release. The original came out in installments between 2013 and 2014. This time, every episode is available on launch day.

Available Platforms and Digital Stores

On PC, Telltale sells the game through Steam and the Epic Games Store. On consoles, the game is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. According to PM Studios, Xbox Series X|S players can also play the Xbox One version through backward compatibility.

  • PC: Steam and Epic Games Store, October 29, 2026
  • PlayStation 5: PlayStation Store, October 29, 2026
  • Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One: Microsoft Store, October 29, 2026
  • Nintendo Switch: delayed, date not yet announced

Telltale announced the Switch delay on October 16, 2026. The studio said only that the Nintendo Switch version will follow at a date to be determined, and promised to share a new date as soon as possible.

The statement did not mention Nintendo Switch 2, even though the original plan listed both consoles. Nintendo Everything noted this lack of clarity. Nintendo players should wait for further official word from Telltale.

New Features and Bonus Content

The Wolf Among Us Remastered adds Noir Mode, which turns the entire game black and white. Players can switch between Noir Mode and the remastered visuals at any time. The mode imitates the look of classic detective films.

Telltale improved the lighting, animation, environments, and user interface. Resolution, audio, and frame rate have also been upgraded, and more accessibility features have been added.

The game includes more than 1 hour of bonus content, including behind-the-scenes videos, cast interviews, an image gallery, and deleted scenes. PM Studios says five deleted scenes are playable for the first time.

PC players need Windows 10, 8 GB of RAM, and a graphics card equivalent to a GTX 470 for 1080p at 30 FPS. For 1080p at 60 FPS, Steam recommends Windows 11, a Core i3-8100 or Ryzen 3 2300X, and a GTX 1050 Ti. The Steam page lists only English, French, German, and Latin American Spanish. Indonesian is not available.

Telltale is preparing a physical edition for early 2027. The sequel, The Wolf Among Us 2, is also scheduled for release in 2027. PM Studios says key decisions made in the remaster may carry over to the sequel. Players can check the price and availability of The Wolf Among Us Remastered directly in the official stores.
